The RINGWOOD Battery Isolator has two functions, it protects the equipment in the event of a short circuit or overload. However, the fuses must not be opened when the inverter is either charging or running from the battery supply, as the current flowing would cause arcing. This could result in severe burns. Always power down the inverter before maintenance work and always follow the power up/power down instructions.
  • Offers protection between the inverter unit and batteries
  • Protects equipment in the event of a short circuit or overload
